GENERAL RULESArticle 1: Organisation
The race "Casablanca Marathon" is a race organised by the ACGC - Association des Coureurs du Grand Casablanca (the Organiser). The Organiser can be contacted at any time for any request for clarification or additional information via the form available on the website https://casablancamarathon.com, or by email at acgrandcasa@gmail.com.
Article 2: Date, times and course
The race is organised once a year, on the last Sunday of October.
- Distances: 42km, 21km and Marathon Relay
- Start/Finish: next to the Hassan II Mosque on Boulevard Sidi Med Ben Abdellah opposite Rue Regraga in Casablanca

Race bib pickup takes place at the Marathon Village (address on the website).
Wearing the race bib visibly on the chest, unfolded and not concealed, is mandatory throughout the race.
Article 3: Participation conditions
Participation in the race is open only to runners who have the ability to practise competitive running or who hold a licence. The race is open to amateur and professional runners aged 18 and over.
Article 4: Registration method
Registrations are made exclusively online on the website www.casablancamarathon.com and the runner will immediately receive a confirmation by email. No participant can register on the day. Registration is only validated after payment of the registration fee.
Fees: 300 MAD / 50 € (Marathon), 200 MAD / 30 € (Half-Marathon) and 600 MAD / 120 € (Marathon Relay for a team of 4 people). This includes: t-shirt, refreshments, medal, entertainment, race film, civil liability insurance and medical assistance.
Each registration is personally binding on its author. Transfer or assignment of the race bib to a third party is strictly prohibited. Any participant carrying a race bib obtained in breach of the race rules may be disqualified or held liable in the event of an accident. In the event of non-participation, no refund will be made.
Article 5: Safety
The organiser will deploy a rescue system to guarantee the safety and medical assistance of runners. Marshals will be present along the course and the police will be informed of the event. Injured or ill participants will be attended to by an on-site medical team.
An emergency number is printed on each race bib. Each participant is required to provide assistance to any runner in distress until help arrives.
Article 6: Insurance, liability and behaviour
The organisers have taken out a civil liability insurance policy to cover the competition. All other participants are required to take out individual insurance.
The organisation accepts no liability in the event of an accident or failure related to a health problem or insufficient preparation. Participants assume full responsibility for their participation and cannot hold the organiser liable. The organiser accepts no liability for theft or damage to equipment.

Article 8: Image rights
The Organiser reserves all rights to use images of the race. Competitors consent to their image, individual or collective, being used by the Organiser.
Any image taken during the race may only be used by participants for personal use, unless written authorisation or accreditation is granted.
Article 9: Liability waiver
Each participant declares that they have no contraindication to the practice of competitive running and that participation in the race is at their own risk with waiver of all recourse against the organisers regardless of the damage suffered. They expressly waive any rights against the organisers and undertake not to take any legal action against the organisers for any incident that may result from their participation in this event. Any withdrawal must be reported to the marshal at the nearest control point, the race bib must be handed to the marshal.
